Consultation

I offer clinical consultation, , training, workshops, groups, experiential activities, and education. I work with therapists, therapy associates, psychologists, social workers, activists, community leaders, bodyworkers, somatic practitioners, and organizations. I utilize a Decolonizing approach to Somatic Therapy and wave in parts-work, dance-movement, expressive-arts. I work with the issues below

  • Race, culture, ethnicity, bicultural identity, immigration, migration, acculturation diaspora, exile

  • Cultural or generational conflicts related to multicultural identity, acculturation, and family role and expectations

  • Collective Trauma: Cultural, Historical, Ancestral, & Intergenerational

  • Juvenile justice, juvenile hall, foster youth, probation systems

  • Childhood developmental trauma

  • Traumas of social injustice, colonialism, state violence, systemic oppression.

  • Intersectionality: Lived-experiences of power, privilege, and oppression at intersections of culture, gender, race, ethnicity, class, age, sexual orientation, relationship structures, citizenship.

  • Recovery from cults, rigid institutions, political environment stress, and religious fundamentalism.

  • Existential issues centering on meaning, purpose, self-alignment, isolation, role transitions, value clarification, and navigating inherent life conflicts.

  • Therapists of color attempting to navigate the predominantly white field of psychology in the United States.
